Lake effect snow showers and cold temperatures

Expect gusty winds, scattered lake effect snow showers and very cold temperatures for late tonight through Friday night. Areas of low visibility due to blowing snow are likely in persistent lake effect snow showers. Widespread below zero wind chills are expected. The very cold temperatures and scattered snow shower activity will continue into the weekend. Temperatures will slowly modify through the first half of next week. Right now, no significant storms on the horizon.
