DAILY NUMBERS AND COMMUNITY
TESTING
The Grand Traverse County
Health Department (GTCHD) reports one new positive case today bringing the
total to 38 positive cases, 6 probable cases, 19 recoveries, and 5 deaths in
Grand Traverse County residents. There are three Grand Traverse County cases
(of the 38) currently in isolation being monitored. Additional statistics are
available on the County’s dashboard.
The new case is a male in
his 30s who became symptomatic while traveling out of state. He did not travel
during his infectious period and based upon the case investigation the exposure
was community-acquired where he traveled. Close contacts have been notified in
that state. Contact tracing continued through the weekend on the two positive
cases reported in the community update on Friday, June 19 and all close
contacts have been notified.
